Har be Monsters...

...these funky creatures were found outside Clearways this week, apparently they are Puriri Moths. Far be it from me to criticise anybodys piloting skills, but these guys are, frankly, crap at flying!

This weeks' flying..

..has been largely curtailed due to poor weather, although I have managed to get three flights in, including my last solo general handling and my first navigation flight.
The latter is something that is completely new to me and I did find it challenging, hopefully it will get easier with time.
Some pictures from the nav route (not taken on the day) are shown below.
Raglan Airfield, did an overhead rejoin and low overshoot here this week.
Temple View, a visual reporting point on the way back into Hamilton.
A couple of shots taken during an evening GH to the East of Hamilton.

A Talking Aeroplane!?!?!

Todays flight took place in the Alpha 160 prototype, ZK-FXY. Interestingly enough it has a voice warning system that has far too much to say for itself! Here are a few photos of 'Foxy' taken after the flight.
